Professional Instructors: Our highly qualified instructors will introduce you to the world of diving with expert instruction and knowledge. Rising Sun teaches PADI courses and our instructors have over ten years experience in professional diving instruction.

Having worked in many parts of the world as instructors, they can provide instruction in English, French, German and Italian. All the necessary videos and reading materials are also available in all four languages.

Personalised Instruction: With Rising Sun you will have the benefit of learning how to dive under personalised instruction. No big groups and no time pressure. Zanzibar's east coast is in fact the ideal place to learn diving, with its shallow lagoon rich in marine life and the untouched corals and outside reefs.

The Open Water Diver Course: The PADI Open Water Diver Course is recognized internationally and will enable you to dive all over the world. A brief description of the course:
Introduction You will meet with your instructor and familiarize yourself with all the necessary equipment, safety procedures and take "the first breaths!"

Pool Dives: An ideal environment in which you will get accustomed to being under water, achieving neutral buoyancy and also diving in a group.

The Open Water Dives Testing your new skills in the sea. You will make four dives in the protected lagoon together with the instructor and get to know the marine life and aquatic environment.
Learning is made easier by the support of a videotape, manual and theory lessons. At the end of the course you will have to pass a multiple choice exam upon which you will receive your PADI certificate.
